the birth of a blog
the other evening i wasted 3 hours researching ducati ownership. the ducati part may be different, but the “wasted” time was pretty typical. so while i should have been writing articles for my other gig, i thought to myself, “self, you need a braindump for all this autosurfing”. and thus the mental garage was born.
mentalgarage.com (mg, for short) will be just that. at any given time i wish i had 3 or 4 project cars. currently in my mind are the ‘06 wrx that is my actual physical project car, a w202 c43, an e39 5-series, and a roadster of some sort. the last 3 are in my mental garage. so while most people just daydream of bone-stock ferraris and lamborghinis, my idea of dream cars is based on chassis codes, pcd, and offset. this blog is for all the gearheads out there that do the same.
so what’s coming? project car plans, pricing them out, automotive miscellany: from nice photos i run across to the best youtube timewasters. follow my other brain dumps on twitter: http://twitter.com/mentalgarage …
